Apple recently patented a flexible battery. It shows that the manufacturer was looking for a solution to develop a product that requires no batteries form as usual, Apple is increasingly making widely smartwatch.

The patent, filed in December 2011, includes a flexible battery that consists of different cells that are connected through the laminating layer, designed to "enable battery formed in accordance with the form factor of electronics devices."

"The report also said that the design of the isolated cells also have other benefits. Example, because of the isolated, the battery will be more reliable than cells with many connections tend not function simultaneously due to liquids and dust."

Of course, the flexible battery solutions are not restricted to use on a watch because it can also be used on other Apple products such as iPhone, iPad, iPod and MacBook.
